University of Chicago Fully-funded Scholarships in 2022:

#1 Undergraduate Scholarships: 

UChicago offers Undergraduate scholarships to international students as well as to US Citizen students each year. These scholarship-funded admissions at the University of Chicago are available for everyone on merit.

#2 International Financial Aid: 

UChicago offers fully financed financial aid to international students who stand up to the beginning procedures of the scholarship application. This UChicago scholarship is offered to needy students. This scholarship amount covers tuition fees, food, accommodation, and study materials. There is no particular amount of scholarship, but it is provided to the student after calculating his/her need for studies.

Note: This scholarship is awarded to students during the admission procedure (if they apply), after getting admission, a request for this scholarship will not be accepted.

#3 Merit Scholarships: 

Merit scholarships are awarded to current undergraduate students. There is no particular procedure for the application of this scholarship as anyone who gets admitted for an undergraduate degree automatically becomes a candidate for a scholarship. This scholarship is provided to the student who has an excellent performance in academics, extracurricular, and leadership activities over the time period of their degree. The students who are eligible receive a minimum of $2,000 or more, depending on their rank.

#5 Fellowships: 

Fellowships are offered to most of the doctoral students and some of the master’s students on the basis of certain criteria. This scholarship covers the expenditure of tuition, living, food, health insurance and allots a specific stipend for them as well. This UChicago scholarship in actuality is a five-year funding package that comes with certain perks. 

#6 Research Assistantships and Teachings: 

As awarding scholarships to each and every candidate is not possible for the university, it has offered plenty of resources to the international students which allows them to self-fund their education. International students are given the opportunity to be employed as teaching assistants and research assistants and generate an income sideways of paying their fees. This will help the students to become financially independent and it will neither interfere with their studies nor waste their time by running far away from the campus for jobs.
