The fully-funded Scholarships for Americans for the class of 2022-2023 are currently open for admission applications.

Historically the Alaskan, Hawaiian, and Native American students lacked proper representation at several universities and colleges in the US. To assist the students who identify as Native American financially by providing them monetary compensation to cover the college or university expenses, many colleges, universities, and private organizations offer scholarship programs for Native Americans.

Scholarships for Native Americans in 2022

If you are looking for a Native American Scholarship program, then you are in the right spot. In the article, we will provide you with four different opportunities.

#1 The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarships

The Jackie Robinson Foundation scholarship aims to frame the legacy of the popular baseballer Jackie Robinson through different scholarship programs. The scholarship program is a tremendous opportunity for students to cover the costs of senior or professional studies.

Scholarship amount: – $30,000 over four years is available to cover the applicant’s tuition fees and other expenses. 

The eligibility Criteria:- 

  • Graduate high-school senior students that are a part of the minority can apply for the scholarship
  • The student needs to be enrolled or registered in a recognized US institution in the four-year program. 
  • Demonstrate Leadership qualities 
  • Show a dedication to the community service
  • Proper evidence is required to show the financial need of the student
  • The student needs to be a US citizen
  • The student needs to have a combined SAT score of 1000 (Math’s and critical reading sections) or a 21 ACT score 
  • The students with a degree from 2 or a 4-year college program aren’t eligible to apply 

Deadline: – March 12, 2022.

#2 Chickasaw Nation Scholarships

The Chickasaw nation scholarship is available for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. The general scholarships are available for students that maintain a GPA of 3.0. The scholarship awards are given on classification and enrollment and the GPA of the students

Scholarship amount: – Varies on the program and the student classification

Eligibility criteria: – The applicants need to provide the following documents:-

  • Citizenship card of Chickasaw
  • College or high school transcript
  • Class schedule

Deadline: – The deadline for submission of the application is:- 

  • Spring – December 1st–February 15th
  • Summer – May 1st–July 1st
  • Fall – July 1st–September 15th

#3 Catching the Dream Scholarships 

Catching the dream organization offers three different scholarship programs for the students. It includes:-

  • TBM program
  • MESBEC program
  • NALE program

It is a golden opportunity for Native American students that want to overcome their financial hurdles and continue professional studies. The scholarship gives the Native American students proper recognition and a chance to fulfill their potential.

Scholarship amount available: – varies on a competitive basis and are based on the projected income of CTD

Eligibility Criteria:- 

  • The student will need to fill in the application form  for the scholarship from
  • Submit an essay that explains your goals, college, and career plans thoroughly (5 pages essay)
  • Three letters of recommendations 
  • Official high school, undergraduate transcripts
  • Standardized test score scores (ACT, SAT, etc.)
  • Letter of admission from any recognized US institution 

Deadline: – There are three deadlines for the scholarship ending on March 15th, April 30th, or September 15th

#4 American Indian Education Fund scholarship for undergraduate

The scholarship program is designed to aid American Indians and Alaska Native students by providing scholarships to 200 students annually.  

Scholarship amount: – up to $2000

Eligibility Criteria:-The eligibility criteria for the application is as follows:-

  • Native American students and Alaska native students can apply for the scholarship
  • Students who maintain a GPA of 2.0, and grades need to be submitted to the organization per semester
  • Students need to provide the documents of the tribal enrollment for your parents or yourself
  • ACT transcripts and GPA scores are required
  • Enrollment in a recognized technical college, school, or university as a full-time graduate is needed

Deadline:- The deadline for the 2022 scholarships application is around April 4th, 2022.
