Apply for SJTU scholarships through Shanghai Jiao Tong University:
With this method of China Scholarship at SJTU, applicants are requested to first select the type of SJTU scholarship such as CSC Scholarship, SJTU Scholarship, or SJTU fellowship, and then create an account on China Scholarship Council for application submission of CSC Scholarship alongside creating an account on SJTU admissions portal and submitting admissions application here.
The application fee for the SJTU admission application processing is CNY 800.

Eligibility Criteria for SJTU Scholarships:
No matter which program you apply to, you must fulfill the following general requirements for Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Scholarship. These include:
- The applicant should have Bachelor’s degree for the master’s program and a Master’s degree for the doctoral
- They should have an excellent academic record
- The applicant must be a non-Chinese
- The applicant applying for the scholarship must be physically and mentally
- The applicant must be proficient in English or Chinese

Process of Application for SJTU Scholarships:
To apply for the International Graduate Program at SJTU, apply online (using the online application on the website (http://isc.sjtu.edu.cn/) before the deadline for the scholarship program in which you are interested. If you wish to be eligible for a scholarship, please apply online by the scholarship deadline.
The Application Fee for SJTU is 800 RMB.
There is an application fee that needs to be paid before applying. Apply online and pay the application fee of RMB 800 (approx. USD 120) by credit card, or transfer RMB or USD to the bank account in the online application system. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

- The applicant needs to submit two letters of recommendation. The letters should be written by associate professors or senior professionals in a related academic field. SJTU Scholarship Application Deadline:
SJTU Scholarship 2023 application window will be closed on March 31, 2023. The deadline for self-supported admission application is May 31, 2023. Enrollment will begin on September 3, 2023.
