#2 Jackie Robinson’s Foundation Scholarship Program

Every year, there are about 60 or so scholarships awarded to high school students. These students have already proven their leadership skills and have dedicated themselves to community service. Students from diverse ethnic groups are also eligible for these scholarships. The typical scholarship is worth around $10,000 in total.

  • Award: The scholarship provides students with USD 30,000, given to the student in installments throughout the four years of college.
  • Eligibility: For high school seniors who want the advantage of top university education.

#3 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program

  • Award: The average grant ranges from $4,000 to $50,000 over four years.
  • Eligibility: High school seniors in the United States who plan to attend a four-year university in the United States.
  • Deadline: November 5, 2022

#5 Engebretson Foundation Scholarship

These scholarships are granted to students who demonstrate financial need and an excellent academic background and leadership skills. Applicants should have a tremendous academic record and abilities to show their eligibility for this scholarship. An email is an option for applying.

  • Award: The grant pays $5k/semester.
  • Eligibility: Seniors in high school who intend to attend a four-year university
  • Deadline: March 1, 2022

#6 Horatio Alger Scholarship Award

This scholarship is intended to give the support and encouragement someone needs. This organization wants to acknowledge that we all can benefit from people who have gone through difficult times with poise and success. At the national and state levels, 106 awards of USD 25,000 will be given out.

  • Award: The grant pays $5k/semester.
  • Eligibility:

B. Merit-based Scholarships

#1 Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships

Every applicant must adhere to the eligibility requirements of the scholarship program. Eligibility requirements are unique to each Ronald McDonald House Charity. #2 Coca-Cola Scholars Program

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is the world’s most extensive corporate-sponsored scholarship program. Coca-Cola Scholars are selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants based on their leadership skills, extracurricular activities, and community service. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required of students and is a graduating senior in high school or a home-schooled student in their final year of secondary education. Candidates must also demonstrate significant personal and academic achievement in math and science courses.

  • Award: The scholarship gives out 150 scholarships each year, each worth around $20,000.
  • Eligibility: Seniors who are not linked to Coca-Cola employees in the United States are eligible.
  • Deadline: October 31, 2022

#3 Burger King Scholars Program

Students are selected for the scholarship program based on their cumulative GPA, work experience, community service record, and extracurricular interests. This scholarship though not paying much grant but it’s a chance to study abroad with a great community.

  • Award: The monetary prizes vary and maybe as much as $50,000.
  • Eligibility: Students in their senior year of high school, employees, and children/spouses/partners are all eligible to apply.
  • Deadline: December 15, 2022

C. Competition based Scholarships

#1 Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

Everyone has the opportunity to win a scholarship awarded by this foundation, as long as they write an essay about any one of these three topics. Students have to express their views on “Atlas Shrugged” in a convincing manner. The reigning champion of this essay contest will gain a prize of $25,000.

  • Award: The top prize of the contest is a sum of approximately $40,000 annually.
  • Eligibility: If you’re a high school senior, college student, or graduate student, you can apply.
  • Deadline: September 27, 2022

#2 The Fountainhead Essay Contest

If you’re a student who appreciates the value of a strong career start, then there’s no time like the present to submit an essay on how Ayn Rand’s novel “The Fountainhead” affected your mindset. A top student will receive a scholarship of $10,000. The program will continue to support runners-up. In a given year, a total of approximately $22,500 will be distributed across all runners-up.

#3 Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition

Students must write and record an audio essay on a patriotic theme to be eligible for this prize. #2 William Randolph Hearst Foundations U.S. Senate Youth Program

#3 AXA Achievement Scholarships

#4 CIA Undergraduate Scholars Program

This scholarship program is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for work experience in the government, especially someone interested in international relations. There is a unique paid internship program for college and graduate students during the summer. Students at top schools work at the CIA. In both scholarship and internship programs, students can earn up to $18,000 (plus extra perks).

It’s not easy to get a scholarship. To qualify, you must show that your family is estimated to earn $70,000 if you’re supporting less than four family members or a total of $80,000 if you’re supporting more than five.

#5 Davidson Fellowship Scholarships
