#1 Lancaster Global Scholarships

The Lancaster Global Scholarship is available for both graduate and undergraduate students. This award is only available to overseas students. The scholarship is only available as a tuition fee exemption for Bachelor and Masters Taught programs beginning in 2022, and it will be issued automatically provided students match the qualifying criteria. Undergraduate and postgraduate students get a £5,000 scholarship for the first year, while freshmen in the MBA program receive an £8,500 grant.

Students with a minimum of three A*s are eligible for the award in undergraduate degrees. The applicants who are fully funded will not be considered for this scholarship but partially funded students are eligible for the scholarship. However, if an applicant qualifies for another scholarship aside from The Lancaster Global Scholarship, the scholarship with the highest amount will be granted.

#2 Commonwealth Scholarship Program

International students are also able to qualify for the Commonwealth Scholarship, which gives full tuition to Postgraduate and Research students. Awardees must have three A stars or above, or the equivalent at A level, with at least five GCSE grades of A/7 or higher.

Eligible students are immediately considered for the award and do not need to submit an application. If a candidate fits the qualifying requirements, the Lancaster Scholarship and the Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship can be combined. However, support is not assured for the following years as the scholarships are renewed annually.

#5 Lancaster Opportunity Scholarships

Lancaster Opportunity scholarships are only available to home-paying UK students who qualify for the Contextual Offer Scheme. Only undergraduate students are eligible for the award. The Contextual Offer Scheme seeks to uncover the potential of students whose personal circumstances may have influenced their academic results. The scholarship is worth £1,000 every academic year. Students who are eligible are automatically identified.

#6 Lancaster Masters Awards

The award is available to UK students or students who are qualified for financial assistance as determined by the English government. The scholarship is offered as a university cost exemption for Postgraduate Taught programs beginning in 2022, and it is automatically awarded if students match the qualifying criteria.

Applicants to Masters Taught courses provided by the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, and Science and Medicine must have attained the comparable of a UK first-class bachelor major.

#7 Lancaster Master of Business Administration Scholarships

This grant is open to foreign students. Students enrolled in Masters Taught degrees at Lancaster University Management School are eligible for a £4,000 scholarship for the first year of study. For tuition fee reasons, recipients must be classified as ‘Overseas’ or ‘International’ fee-paying students for the length of their study.
