If selected by the College’s Management Committee, local students will be given a monthly allowance of $2500. If selected based on the College’s Administration Committee’s decision, foreign students who satisfy the requirement will receive a monthly allowance of $1500.

Candidates enrolled in the National University of Singapore’s Ph.D. program will receive an additional $500 each month in addition to their funding. The aspirant should, however, have cleared the Ph.D. qualification assessment, which is usually held in under 18 months of registering. The extra allowance is renewed based on satisfactory results. Further stipends, on the other hand, may differ across departments and campuses.

This NUS scholarship fully covers the student’s tuition fee and this is financed by the university itself.

Following a thorough review of all applicants, a one-year fellowship would be offered at the commencement. Nevertheless, at the request of the College’s Evaluation & Administrative Council, the grant can be prolonged based on the student’s achievements. It’s indeed important to note that students pursuing a Master’s degree will be granted a fellowship for 2 years, whereas Ph.D. students will be rewarded a fellowship for 4 years.

  • There is no restriction to apply. Local, as well as international students, are welcome for this scholarship.
  • High school completion and grades transcripts are mandatory for undergraduate scholarships.
  • In order to be eligible for a Masters’s scholarship, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • In order to be eligible for a Ph.D. scholarship, the candidate must have a Master’s degree.
  • Exceptional academic grades are required.
